The Certificated Teacher Resource will assist in the academic program for grades K-5 and/or 6-12, providing tutoring and support to students while managing the resource center operations. Responsibilities include grading student work, providing feedback, and collaborating with teachers and parents.
Candidates must possess a baccalaureate degree and a California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, along with experience working with middle and/or secondary students. Additional qualifications include passing a local assessment and obtaining TB clearance and background checks.

Provide constructive feedback to students Support each individual student’s PATHWAYS PERSONALIZED EDUCATION PLAN (PPEP) and IEP Sign and abide by all educational testing affidavits Communicate with students and parents relating to school events, academic engagement, and progress Assist teachers with testing and supervision Attend required professional development opportunities and staff meetings throughout the school year Assist in conducting student home visits Support teachers with resource center management related to a safe and positive school culture Support teachers with the development of a monthly resource center calendar Maintain a clean and organized learning environment for students Assist education specialist with scheduling SAI appointments, IEP meetings, and assessments. Assist with progress monitoring, data collection, and case management. Deliver Specialized Academic Instruction per student IEPs Perform other duties as assigned or changed with or without notice. Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
AND REQUIREMENTS: Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent Completion of two years college coursework from an accredited college or university (Minimum of 48 semester units) Pass a workstyles/behavior survey and math assessment Excellent organization, time management, and record keeping skills Experience working with youth and specialized student populations preferred Reliable transportation TB Clearance Obtain Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance through the DOJ and FBI

Qualified applicants will first complete a brief work-styles/behavioral survey and a math assessment. Candidates who successfully complete this initial phase will be invited to a panel interview with School Administrators. Candidates recommended from the first interview will advance to a final interview with the Deputy Superintendent School Services and Founding Director, and the Superintendent School Services and Founder.
