Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will instruct students in a personalized environment, manage and execute services according to each student's individual education plan (Iep), and collaborate with instructional staff and school personnel. Responsibilities include planning and implementing daily lessons, conducting pre- And post-Testing, writing and chairing iep meetings, and providing direct student instruction.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid california special education specialist credential authorizing the assigned disability and level, or be intern eligible, along with required autism and english learner authorizations or eligibility. Required knowledge includes california teaching standards, core academic subjects, high school graduation requirements, and research-Based instructional strategies for diverse student populations.
