Special Education Teacher: Mod/Severe

Special education teachers at rocketship public schools ensure that students with significant support needs receive an excellent education through individualized instruction and collaboration with general educators. They manage iep caseloads, implement behavior support plans, and engage with families to foster student growth.

Candidates must hold a b.a./B.s. Degree and be eligible for licensure in special education interventionist k–8 and elementary k–5. Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in special education or related settings and knowledge of special education law and effective inclusion practices.
