Teaching Assistant-10M

The teaching assistant performs instructional duties or direct services to students and parents under the ultimate responsibility of a teacher, assisting with academic goals and classroom management. Responsibilities also include supervising students during various school activities and aiding in the preparation and data collection for special education processes like ard/Iep.

Applicants must possess an educational aide certificate as established by the state board for educator certification, which requires either two years of college coursework (48 semester hours), an associate’s degree or higher, or passing a local academic assessment verifying knowledge in reading, writing, and mathematics. No prior work experience beyond that required for the certificate is necessary.
