Montessori Assistant Teacher: Houston, TX

The assistant teacher will support lead teachers in preparing and implementing instructional activities that facilitate active montessori learning experiences, including presenting lessons and observing each child's development. Responsibilities also involve supporting student needs, maintaining a safe classroom environment, assisting with daily operations, and establishing positive relationships with children and families.

Minimum qualifications require either four years of experience as an aide/Assistant/Lead teacher, or two years of experience plus an associate's degree, or a bachelor's degree. A primary montessori teaching credential from a macte-Accredited institution is required, or the candidate must be on track to obtain one within two years of hire.
