Substitute Teachers

The substitute teacher provides meaningful instruction to students using the regular teacher's lesson plans and curriculum while the regular teacher is absent. Responsibilities include fostering a productive and safe learning environment, maintaining routines, and supporting student success throughout the school day.

A bachelor's degree is preferred, and a valid colorado department of education substitute authorization or teacher license is preferred. Candidates must possess strong classroom management skills, the ability to follow lesson plans, and the capacity to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
