Special Education Teacher - 2026-27 School Year

The special education teacher is responsible for supporting instructional processes by developing students' success in academics and daily living skills, supervising them, and delivering individualized and group instruction within established curriculum guidelines. This role also involves developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), tracking student progress, and collaborating with staff and parents regarding instructional programs.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a colorado special education teacher license, and demonstrate subject matter competency, preferably with one year of experience working with students in a school setting. Required qualifications include the ability to adapt lessons, manage diverse learning abilities, prioritize deadlines, and demonstrate strong teamwork and analytical problem-Solving skills.
