Social Worker - School Based Mental Health Provider

The school social worker provides comprehensive mental health and social-Emotional support services to students, focusing on improving academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning through direct counseling, assessment, and crisis response. This role involves key participation in iep processes, conducting evaluations, implementing interventions, and collaborating extensively with families, educators, and community partners.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work from an accredited institution and ideally have previous school social work experience. Required qualifications include a cde special provider license endorsement in school social work or passing the aswb/Holding an lcsw, along with strong assessment, communication, and collaborative teaming skills.
