Summer 2026 RN Externship Program

Externs are responsible for immediate reporting of patient condition changes, performing basic hygiene care, and ensuring patient safety through frequent rounds and assistance. They must also accurately document information, safely transfer patients, and welcome new patients and their families.

Applicants must be current bsn students entering their junior year, graduating in december 2026 or may 2027, and maintaining a minimum 3.0 gpa. A current american heart association basic life support certification is required, along with compliance with cms covid-19 vaccination mandates.
