Exception Education One to One Paraprofessional - Smith Springs - (2026-2027)

The paraprofessional one-To-One provides support for instruction, supervision, care, and instruction of a student with special needs, assisting in implementing plans and monitoring academics and behavior. Responsibilities include adapting materials, administering tests, assisting with personal care like feeding and diapering, and collecting behavioral or academic data under teacher supervision.

Candidates must possess an associate's degree in an applicable field, 48 college credit hours, or successful completion of praxis certification, along with prior experience working with children. Essential abilities include maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, flexibility, teamwork, clear communication, and basic computer proficiency.
