Translator.Parent Outreach - Spanish

The parent outreach translator will provide verbal interpretation and written translation services for school and district staff to ensure parents receive necessary information and equitable language access, including serving as an interpreter during legally-Required meetings like ieps and disciplinary hearings. Responsibilities also include facilitating access to support services, building relationships with multilingual families, and managing translation requests via the district's ticketing system.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with a minimum of two years of applicable experience in language translation duties, demonstrating proficiency in reading, writing, and oral communication in both english and the native language. Candidates must pass a proficiency test translating english to the native language and be familiar with the microsoft office suite.
