Direct Support Professional (DSP) Adult Training CAM FT, 1st Shift

Direct support professionals are key to providing services by using person-Centered thinking to understand the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include planning and leading activities, driving to community outings, supporting daily living skills, and administering medication after training.

Candidates must possess 'grit,' 'heart,' advocacy skills, and patience for mentoring, as the work can be challenging and involves supporting vulnerable people. Minimum requirements include being 18 or older, possessing a high school diploma or ged, having a valid driver's license, and being eligible to work in the united states; no prior experience or college degree is necessary as training is provided.
