Are you passionate about developing the next generation of elite swimmers? The Danvers YMCA Dolfins, a premier youth swim team and partner to the renowned Swimm with Timm program, is looking for a dynamic Assistant Swim Coach to join our growing team.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Tom Phillips (formerly of Commonwealth Swimming and current Merrimack College Assistant Coach), the Dolfins have seen explosive growth. In just one season, we’ve seen an 8-fold increase in championship qualifiers. We don’t just "run laps"; we build athletes.
Requirements: About YOU
You balance technical expertise with high-energy leadership. You love the thrill of a meet but value the hard work of a Tuesday night practice.
High School Diploma and 2+ years of swim coaching experience (3–5 years of competitive swimming or coaching is strongly preferred).
You have (or are willing to obtain) CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certs. You must also be willing to obtain USA Swimming and YMCA Principles of Competitive Swimming credentials.
