SPED Teacher - ECE Speech Language Pathologist

Speech language pathologists provide intervention to students requiring special education services, focusing on academic growth, social relationships, functional communication, and positive behavior through evidence-Based instruction aligned with the guaranteed viable curriculum (Gvcs). Responsibilities include student support, managing classroom behavior, maintaining detailed treatment records for iep and medicaid systems, and collaborating on individual education programs.

Candidates must possess demonstrated knowledge of speech language and social language development, behavior management, and the developmental needs of school-Aged children, along with effective case management and communication skills. A master's degree in speech pathology and a colorado special service provider license as a school speech language pathologist are required.
