PreK Teacher Assistant - HB Horn

The prek teacher assistant is responsible for supervising children, the classroom, and all activities while providing a quality experience focused on ymca core values. Key duties include making ongoing observations of each child, maintaining communication with parents, and ensuring the program site and equipment are maintained.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet state-Established educational and experience qualifications, including holding a 45-Hour certificate. Required certifications (Cpr, first aid, aed, child abuse prevention) must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and the ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities is essential.
