Instructional Assistant - General Education [K-5 50%]

This role involves performing instructional support by assisting classroom teachers with activities, implementing educational goals, and working directly with individual or small groups of students across all curricular areas. The assistant also aids in planning, organizing, evaluating instructional activities, and ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for all students.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be pursuing or hold an associate’s degree in an early childhood field or a child development associate (Cda) credential, or meet essa requirements along with specific early childhood coursework or experience. Essential abilities include working knowledge of instructional methods, core subjects, supporting diverse learners, maintaining confidentiality (Ferpa), and effective collaboration.
