Special Education Teacher, Curriculum Assistance 50%

This role coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students, focusing on developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps) based on diagnostic information. The teacher will employ various teaching methods, monitor student progress, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with the team during iep meetings.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area, excluding academically or intellectually gifted licenses. Essential knowledge includes instructional practices for specially designed instruction, curriculum standards, and relevant state/Federal policies, alongside proficiency in microsoft office and google apps.
