Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area, excluding academically or intellectually gifted licenses. Essential knowledge includes instructional practices for specially designed instruction, curriculum standards, and relevant state/Federal policies, along with proficiency in microsoft office and google apps.
