Substance Abuse Specialist

The specialist will maintain effective trainee employee assistance and tobacco use prevention programs, focusing on awareness, education, intervention, and community resource networking. Essential duties include developing integrated substance abuse components, providing direct counseling, assessing students, and ensuring comprehensive staff training.

Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted substance abuse certification or license meeting state requirements for practice in kansas, such as cadc or cradc. A minimum of one year of experience is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.
