Dental Assistant II (Kosair for Kids)

This role involves serving as a chairside dental assistant, often in an expanded duty dental assistant or surgical capacity, to provide patient-Centered care in pediatric dentistry settings. Essential duties also include managing operatories, sterilizing instruments, taking radiographs, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with a minimum of two years of dental assisting experience, including one year of surgical assisting experience. Required certifications include radiology and cpr, with preference for expanded duties dental assistant (Edda) or expanded function dental auxiliary (Efda) qualifications.
