Academic Advisor II

The academic advisor will primarily provide individual advising, assist students with major selection, goal setting, and degree planning, while guiding and monitoring their academic progress. They will also support students navigating institutional policy and challenges, utilizing advising software to maintain accurate records and notes.

A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in a related field along with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred competencies include experience with higher education students, the ability to build rapport, comfort working with diverse student populations, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
