Behavior Specialist

The behavior specialist provides therapeutic crisis intervention services within the school setting and works closely with the residential treatment team to ensure a consistent treatment approach. Responsibilities include maintaining student safety, developing behavior goals, and participating in policy development.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting. Paraprofessional licensure in illinois is required or must be obtained within 3 months of employment.
