Core responsibilities
The parent mentor supports parents involved with the odhs child welfare system by empowering and coaching them through their cases. They build trusting relationships and represent the parent mentor program positively with county partners.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have personal experience with addiction issues and a minimum of 2 years in active recovery. A high school diploma or ged is required, along with personal transportation for travel within the designated counties.
