Behavioral Medicine Specialist Psychology

The behavioral medicine specialist evaluates and diagnoses health plan members with mental disorders or behavioral conditions in a primary care setting. They develop and implement treatment plans, provide education and support, and collaborate with medical personnel.

Candidates must have a phd, psyd, or edd in clinical counseling, health, or school psychology and a psychologist license in california within six months of hire. Previous clinical experience in diagnosis, crisis intervention, and collaboration with medical personnel is required.
