Childbirth Educator RN PRN

The childbirth educator rn is responsible for teaching childbirth education classes to new parents and developing curriculum for these classes. They also provide a supportive class atmosphere and collaborate with a multi-Disciplinary team to improve care processes.

Candidates must have an associate degree from an accredited nursing program and two years of experience in childbirth or adult education. Rn licensure and bcls certification are required, with additional certifications preferred.
