Core responsibilities
The youth development counselor is responsible for conducting youth development activities and providing supervision, care, and protection for youth in residential group homes. They work with youth aged 12-18 to help them develop life skills and implement various activities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a ba/Bs degree and at least one year of experience working with adolescents in a residential treatment facility. A valid california driver’s license and covid-19 vaccination are also required.
