Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher is responsible for assisting in the education and daily program of a head start or early head start classroom. This includes ensuring safety, providing individual attention to children, and assisting with educational experiences.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and preferably two years of related experience in a preschool classroom setting. Additional requirements include the ability to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and pass various background checks.
