We are looking for a caring, patient, and collaborative Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated staff.

Position Summary

The Infant/Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role involves planning and implementing curriculum, engaging in responsive caregiving, and supporting social, emotional, and physical development through meaningful interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive, respectful care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
  • Design and implement daily activities that support age-appropriate developmental goals.
  • Ensure the classroom environment is clean, safe, and engaging at all times.
  • Observe and document children's development and behavior to support individualized learning and family communication.
  • Establish strong, trusting relationships with children and families through daily communication and regular check-ins.
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain consistency, safety, and high-quality care.
  • Follow licensing regulations, school policies, and best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

12 ECE units including Infant/Toddler Development (California requirement) Minimum 6 months experience working with children under 3 years of age CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children on the floor Strong communication and teamwork skills Warm, nurturing, and flexible approach to caregiving Preferred:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
