Afterschool Counselor I

The site counselor is responsible for leading assigned groups in planned activities that support youth development and educational goals. They must ensure program compliance with ymca and bright from the start regulations while maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with school-Age children. Applicants must also pass a background check and possess or be able to obtain cpr/First aid certification.
