Lifeguard I

The lifeguard maintains active surveillance of the pool area to ensure safe swimming conditions and responds immediately to emergency situations. They are also responsible for performing equipment checks, chemical testing, and maintaining accurate safety records.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold current certifications in cpr/Aed, first aid, and ymca lifeguarding or equivalent. The role requires the physical ability to perform all lifeguard skills and the capacity to observe all areas of responsibility.
