Assistant Professor, Respiratory Care

The instructor is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the program's philosophy and objectives, which includes designing, teaching, and revising curriculum for both residential and distance education courses. They are accountable for student outcomes, providing support, remediation, academic advisement, and counseling as needed.

A bachelor's degree in the allied health profession of hire, education, or a related field, along with graduation from the specified allied health profession program, is required. Candidates must also possess 3-4 years of recent clinical or teaching experience in the field, and hold current cpr/Bls and registered respiratory therapist (Rrt) certifications with a virginia license.
