Special Education Teacher, Cross Categorical Resource, Part-Time, 60%

The teacher coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students, including the development and implementation of individual education programs (Ieps). They are responsible for monitoring student progress, maintaining a safe learning environment, and collaborating with school staff and parents.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, with preferred qualifications including first aid, cpr, and cpi certifications.
