Prenatal Educator

The prenatal educator teaches and prepares families for childbirth and newborn care through in-Person and virtual classes. They are responsible for managing classroom environments, maintaining attendance records, and collaborating with the department to evaluate and improve educational programs.

Candidates should hold a professional certification such as ibclc, certified lactation counselor, or be a licensed practical nurse in pennsylvania. Experience in obstetrical, pediatric, labor and delivery, or postpartum care is preferred.
