Prenatal Educator

The prenatal educator teaches and prepares families for childbirth and newborn care through in-Person and virtual classes and support groups. They are responsible for classroom setup, maintaining educational materials, documenting attendance, and collaborating with the department to improve program effectiveness.

Candidates should be an ibclc, certified lactation counselor, or a licensed practical nurse in pennsylvania with obstetrical or pediatric experience. Experience in labor and delivery, newborn care, and childbirth education is preferred.
