Assistant Teacher/Caregiver I (Selma - Eric White)

The assistant teacher supports the lead caregiver in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children under 36 months. Responsibilities include assisting with daily classroom routines, observing child development, and fostering positive relationships with families and staff.

Candidates must hold a child development associate teacher permit with 12 units of ece/Cd, including infant/Toddler units, or possess an associate degree in ece/Cd. One year of experience in an infant/Toddler or ece classroom is required, along with valid cpr/First aid certification and the ability to pass background checks.
