Family Advocate Xenia/Jamestown

The family advocate assesses family strengths and supports them in setting and achieving goals to promote self-Reliance. They also coordinate with community resources and teachers to ensure families successfully transition children into kindergarten.

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to obtain a relevant credential within 18 months. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift 40 lbs are required, along with 2 years of social services experience if no related degree is held.
