The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in executing team plans, daily practices, and game analysis while fostering the spiritual and character development of student-athletes. They are responsible for integrating Christian values into the athletic program and maintaining compliance with CHSAA regulations.
Candidates must have prior coaching experience in football and a proven ability to mentor high school student-athletes. A commitment to the school's Christian values and the ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff are required.
An Assistant Coach of a Valor Christian Athletic team will prepare tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ within the platform of the sport. As a committed follower of Jesus Christ, the Coach will provide excellent support of the program including intentional development of the athletes’ faith in Jesus Christ and excellence in Christian Character, while instilling great work habits, and teaching, stressing and monitoring the primacy of Academics.
