Core responsibilities
The memory care program specialist develops and implements therapeutic and social activities to meet the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents. This role also maintains daily attendance records, completes progress reports, and assists with meal service and resident care standards.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or an associate degree with 1-2 years of experience in long-Term care activities. Certification in dementia or behavior management is required or must be obtained within one year of hire.
