Employment Specialist -Galveston Career Center

The employment specialist provides intensive career counseling, case management, and job search assistance to individuals with barriers to employment. They are responsible for cultivating employer relationships, conducting workshops, and maintaining accurate data for program compliance and participant retention.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred along with one to three years of experience in vocational counseling or job development. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, proficiency in microsoft office, and reliable transportation.
