Job description
- SUMMARY As a Youth Apprentice, you participate in a comprehensive internship program that introduces you to a wide range of clinical and health experiences.
- This is a paid internship that offers you an opportunity to be assigned to one of our clinical/non-clinical departments during your senior/junior year of high school – giving you a glimpse of potential careers in healthcare.
- Please note that students must attend RCSD schools or charter schools or be a student of the urban/suburban program.

- Provide direct and indirect patient care activities, facilitating wherever needed; work with patients in relation to nutritional, skin integrity, elimination and hygiene needs; take patient vital signs Admission & Discharge.
- Assist with the admission, discharge and transfer of patients Clerical Management.
- Maintain patient charts as needed EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

- PAY RANGE: $16.00 - $16.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
