Candidates must hold at least an Associate's degree, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. A valid teaching certification is also preferred, along with the physical ability to engage with students and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ignite Achievement Academy is seeking a creative, flexible, and student-centered Fine Arts Teacher for the upcoming school year at our South Campus.
Class sizes at IAA are intentionally small, typically ranging from 5–8 students, based on individual student needs. Our students thrive in a highly individualized, supportive environment designed specifically for learners with special needs and learning differences.
The Fine Arts Teacher will design and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that foster creativity, exploration, and skill development. Instruction should be adapted to meet a wide range of abilities, with an emphasis on participation, self-expression, and building confidence. Lessons may incorporate sensory-friendly approaches, visual supports, and structured routines to ensure accessibility for all learners.
This position is located at our South Charlotte campus. We anticipate having both part- and full-time positions available.
Instruction: Plan and deliver personalized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student in alignment with their academic plan, utilizing the provided curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress, adjust instructional methods as needed, and provide detailed reports on student achievements. Review data frequently and make adjustments, as needed.
