Position Description

We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, experienced Elementary English Language Arts Teacher to join our innovative dual language immersion model. In this role, you will teach literacy, language arts, science, and social studies in English to two cohorts of students. This position will be teaching upper grades (2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade). This position also offers an optional opportunity to earn an additional stipend for being a teacher mentor. We use the Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) program, so the curricula is ready for your implementation. You will collaborate closely with a math teacher and partner language teachers (Spanish, French, or Chinese), each responsible for teaching complementary subjects to the same students during alternating times of day. Teachers have dedicated daily planning and collaboration time.
