6-12 History Teacher

The teacher is responsible for designing and delivering rigorous history lessons while maintaining a classroom environment that fosters student growth and critical thinking. They must also collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with families, and manage student assessments and records in accordance with school policies.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with a north carolina teacher's license preferred. Proficiency in educational technology platforms and a thorough understanding of state and federal educational regulations are required.
