The Special Education Teacher develops and implements individualized educational programs (IEPs) and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. They are responsible for assessing student progress, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with parents, districts, and educational staff.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in teaching and possess or be in the process of obtaining an Arizona Special Education Certification. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and utilizing CPI techniques.

El Mirage, Arizona (Dysart Campus) The Certified Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities under the direction of the campus Principal and Superintendent with direct support from the program coordinator. This role also requires the evaluation and assessment of student progress against instructional objectives; follows State mandate due process procedures and functions as IEP manager to assigned students.
