Ex Ed Teacher

The exceptional education teacher is responsible for managing student caseloads, developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), and providing academic and behavioral support. They must also collaborate with general education staff, facilitate iep meetings, and maintain accurate data and records in compliance with state regulations.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid tennessee teaching certification in special education. They should possess knowledge of idea regulations and experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities in a school setting.
