Special Education Paraprofessional at Walker Charter Academy 2026-27 School Year

The paraprofessional will provide instructional and behavioral support to students based on their iep or 504 plans, working in 1:1 or small group settings. They are also responsible for assisting with compliance documentation and attending professional development and iep meetings.

Candidates must meet state requirements for a title 1 paraprofessional and possess the ability to defuse behavioral situations. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavior modifications is preferred.
