Core responsibilities
The behavior coach is responsible for maintaining behavior intervention schedules, collecting and graphing student data, and providing modeling and guidance to classroom staff. They also implement de-Escalation procedures and support students through mtss tier 2 and tier 3 interventions.
Requirements summary
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience supporting student behavior in a k-5 classroom setting. An associate degree or equivalent college credits is preferred, along with experience in crisis intervention and behavior management.
