Key Responsibilities Teach 1st and 2nd grade students in a combination classroom across core subjects using a Christ-centered approach Create a classroom environment that is nurturing, structured, and academically rigorous Integrate God's Word throughout the school day in age-appropriate, meaningful ways Develop yearly and weekly instructional and assessment plans Develop classroom schedules that coordinate with other classes and building needs Communicate openly and regularly with parents, administration, and fellow staff Foster and promote loving relationships with students, parents, and families Maintain confidentiality of all students, staff information, and records Keep accurate student attendance, discipline, and special needs records Participate in faculty meetings, in-service training, and professional development Assist in the development and improvement of school-wide curriculum Serve in at least one additional role outside the classroom (athletics, music, Sunday School, etc.) Contribute to the promotion of St. John's School in the greater Baraboo community
