YMCA in Westfield - Aquatics - Assistant Swim Lesson Instructor

The assistant swim instructor provides safe and challenging swim lessons in accordance with ymca and safety guidelines. They work under the direction of the program coordinator or aquatics director to ensure a high-Quality aquatic experience.

Candidates must demonstrate emotional maturity and pass a swim test consisting of specific strokes and treading water. They are required to obtain or maintain certifications in first aid, cpr, and aquatic safety within specified timeframes.
