Summer Extern - Per Diem

The nurse extern will shadow registered nurses to learn patient assessment and treatment while performing nursing assistant tasks like vital signs and glucose monitoring. They will actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to promote a positive patient experience.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a bsn program and have completed nursing fundamentals. A basic life support (Bls) certification through the american heart association is also required.
